Welcome!
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Operations Research (OR) in Department of Industrial Engineering and Decision Analytics (IEDA), School of Engineering at HKUST, where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Xiaowei Zhang.
My research lies at the intersection of AI and OR. I'm fascinated by how advanced technologies and state-of-the-art models can be leveraged to tackle challenges in operations research. Drawing on generative models and machine learning, I develop methodologies and frameworks for data-driven decision-making and uncertainty quantification, grounded in optimization and statistical foundations. My goal is to design principled, intelligent systems that bridge theoretical rigor with practical impact, emphasizing the interplay among computational power, algorithms and data. Much of my work is inspired by real-world applications in service operations, particularly supply chain, mechanism design and risk management.
I'm happy to discuss related topics and open to potential collaborations.
Feel free to reach out! I am on the 2026-2027 academic job market.
