I am a final-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Decision Analytics, at the HKUST School of Engineering, where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Xiaowei Zhang.
I work at the intersection of AI and operations research, studying how learning can improve operational decisions in complex systems under uncertainty.
- I develop methods for data-driven decision-making and uncertainty quantification by combining advances in generative models and machine learning with foundations in optimization, simulation, and statistics.
- A central theme of my research is understanding how computation, algorithms, and data interact to shape decision quality and translating these insights to inform the design of intelligent systems.
- Much of my research is motivated by pressing challenges in supply chain management, service and platform operations, and financial risk management.
